Xilisoft Video Converter is a video-converting application. From my experience, I have had to face the so tedious task of having to convert video files to other formats many times. Most formats are only supported by some applications, and having to change applications all the time just to encode a file is turn-down. However, not all is so dull nowadays. Recently, I have had the opportunity to try Xilisoft's new video converter, and I wasn't disappointed. Xilisoft Video Converter supports perhaps most video and audio formats, so it really is an all-in-one tool, if you will. The application is also easy to use. These days, most video playback electronics, cellular phones, hand-held devices, gaming consoles, etc., have their own formats. With Xilisoft Video Converter, you can add your .avi file (for example), and select the output to be Xbox 360, PSP, WMV, DIVX, DVD, etc. The application will decode the file to a raw format and then encode it to the format of your liking, all in a single operation. You can even set up a queue of files to be converted overnight. The speed of the converting process is entirely dependent on the speed of your processor and the amount of RAM that you have, among other things, so don't expect any great speed with a sub-par computer. But all in all, this powerful, easy to use application is one of the most recognized file converting solutions in the market. |
